Practice having necessary conversations about equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice with a small group (22 participants) of other educational professionals to support you doing anti-oppression work in your professional and personal life. This accountability group is offered for and facilitated by educational professionals who identify as white. Perhaps you are new to concepts of social justice, you've read some books or taken a few DEIJ (diversity, equity, inclusion, justice) workshops but haven't had the opportunity to have in-depth conversations with others about these issues. Maybe you are looking for a wider community of educational professionals with similar interests in anti-oppression work. These conversations offer a space for reflection and learning as you develop a community of accomplices. These critical conversations will support and motivate you to agitate for change by deepening your awareness of how you are impacted by or implicit in systemic oppression. If you are already doing social justice work, these conversations can help you grow, recharge, and recommit to activist work by connecting with a community of educational professionals who are similarly committed to social justice principles. If you are interested in being part of these conversations but the full cost does not align with what you are able to pay at this time, please contact us (email@example.com). We are happy to accommodate alternative pricing options.
