A two-hour discussion about code switching & white fragility.
These are mixed discussions of 15-40 participants. Breakout rooms will allow for affinity group conversations.
Do you feel that you are constantly having to code-switch to try to blend into different social and professional settings? Are you struggling with white fragility and how it relates to your own identity or the identities of those around you? Join the conversation about how code-switching and white fragility impact our daily lives within our educational settings.
CHANGE MOTIVATOR discussions help participants reflect and grow as educational professionals, keeping you motivated to do social justice work and building your capacity to create change. Connecting with community that both challenges and nourishes can help you ward off the burnout associated with anti-oppression work.
